At the exit of the Planetary Barrel, there is a Holding Flange (to stop the satellite spindles) made of 2379 Steel and hardened by heat treatment.
1st Degassing Chamber.
The Fixing Flange which holds the Intermediate Cutter also connects the Planetary Roller System to the Degassing Chamber.
Since it is also chrome-plated, melt (plastic mix) sticking problem is minimized.
Volatile solvents, residual monomers and air are removed from the melt resulting in higher quality products, improved further processing and healthier process.
Degassing Chamber is made of Stainless Steel and it has an easy door-opening-closing method using Magnets.

Two high pressure air-blowers are used to transport the granulate to the Cooling Conveyor.

Lubrication-Cooling-Heating.
Planetary gearboxes are cooled by a closed-circuit lubrication system employing a heat-exchanger.
Planetary Roller Barrel is heated by 4 sections of Electric-Resistance Heaters (2 x 7500 W and 2 x 5000 W) and cooled by single-phase Air-Blowers.
Discharge Barrel is heated by 2 sections of Electric-Resistance Heaters (2 x 5000 W) and cooled by tri-phase Air-Blowers.
Special air-chutes on the Discharge Barrel speed up the cooling process.
Motor Drivers.
45kW, 32kW, 1,5kW, 1kW: all motor drivers are from FUJI-Japan or ABB.
Control Panel.
10½” PLC Control Touch Screen is used to control and monitor all functions of the Machine including speeds, feed-rates and temperatures.
It has an internal Memory to save the names/types of manufactured Products and Temperature Values.
